about me

I have just started to pick up this hobby. My husband, years ago, use to be right into photography and I always enjoyed the end product but I never understood how to do it myself.

Well with digital photography, I feel a little more confident in trying my hand at this.

My youngest daughter has a keen interest and we as parents are trying to encourage her in every way possible.

It is something that we as a family enjoy together.

My hubby has just bought me a FujiFilm FinePix S6500 fd digital camera.

So, really this photoblog is our learning curve.

We have a tripod now and a polarizer and a grey scale filter.

We will gradually get other lenses that fit on to the end of this camera. I want to take really close shots of flowers and things. I am not a garderner by any means, in fact I have no interest in it. But I do like taking photos of nature.
